A Family of Three

An Army Brat, Turned Model, Now Mom...

Oh man, where do I start?  Life for me began on a military base in upstate New York.  I bounced around like army brats do, eventually landing in Exeter, PA.  Facing those harsh east coast winters year after year was my drive to get someplace warm...Los Angeles sounded nice at the time, so that's what I worked for.  I loved swimming competitively in school and new it could be my ticket out.  Eventually, it led to me accepting a scholarship to Florida Atlantic University for diving.  Unfortunately, an injury in my freshman year ended my collegiate dreams.  With no where to go, I made the decision to roll the dice on a career in modeling.  Off to New York City, where I shared a room with 4 bunk beds and 8 other young 20 somethings trying to find their place in fashion.  After being told time and time again by casting directors that I was either too fat, needed a nose job, or anything other number of criticisms I ithrew in the towel.  But, as chance would have it, I was scouted on the streets of the Big City and cast for a Hair campaign.  Bingo!  I took every cent from that job, bought a car, and drove across the US to Los Angeles with my trusty pug Jack.  Once I was here, I used the momentum from that one big job and got an agent.

I spent the next 8 years modeling, acting and loving those warm California winters, and ultimately it's where I found my husband.  I met my husband through my best friend and roommate at an event, but we didn't start a relationship until years later.  But once we did, it moved fast and quick!  Enter the love of our life and light of our eyes, Micah.  Our special little love bug was born on July 30th, 2014.  We had a rocky pregnancy, an even more difficult delivery, and worse few hours postpartum. This is our journey navigating the rocky shores of life. Come join us!
